Description

The Klon circuit, evolved. A professional drive with two independent channels and one familiar feel. Set them once, they’re there when you need them.

TWO INDEPENDENT CHANNELS, NO WORKAROUNDSAbout the Centurio

The Klon stuck because it didn’t cover your sound: it pushed your amp harder while leaving your tone intact. The Centurio takes that same circuit and builds a second independent channel on top of it, with its own Gain and Volume controls, switchable on the fly without adding anything to the board.

Set them once. They’re just there when you need them. No extra boxes. No chain around a single pedal.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

FEATURES

Everything inside the Centurio. Most players who love the Klon already run two of them, or add a second drive in the chain to cover more ground. The Centurio brings all of that inside a single unit: two independent channels, each dialed in separately, each ready when you need it. The same familiar feel, without the extra board space.DUAL CHANNEL ARCHITECTURE Two independent Gain and Volume stages, each dialed in on its own. Switch between them without reaching down. Normal:The main channel. Klon-based, with independent Gain and Volume. From clean boost to light overdrive. Responds to how hard you pick. Hot Mode:Second independent channel, own Gain and Volume. More saturation and compression, more weight under the fingers. Dedicated footswitch.

HOT MODE & BRIGHT SWITCH

More gain: a second gain stage stacked inside the pedal. More saturation, more weight. The same Klon feel underneath. More comp: Hot Mode compresses naturally under the fingers. Notes sustain longer. The pick attack gets tighter. Bright Switch: Up is brighter, down is tighter. A dedicated tone control for the Hot Mode channel only, separate from Normal.

CLIPPING CONTROL The Clip knob sweeps through the full range of Klon clipping behavior, from the feel of the earliest units to the modern ones. Small adjustments, but you hear them immediately.
– At minimum: more headroom and a slightly asymmetrical clipping. The looser, more open response of the early circuits.
– At maximum: a touch more compression and a symmetrical clipping. Tighter, more defined, closer to the modern units.
– Continuous in between: every position is usable. It’s a sweep, not a switch.
We didn’t pick one version to freeze. We gave you the range, and let your ears choose.

EXTERNAL FOOTSWITCH INPUT

Connect an external footswitch to switch between Normal and Hot Mode from anywhere on stage. No reaching down.

– Ext. Switch input: connect any standard footswitch;

– 9V DC, center negative;

– Two onboard footswitches: Normal and Hot Mode:

– Assembled by hand in Italy, one pedal at a time.
